About Amy Stielstra
I love art.
Art is engaging, expressing, discovering, experimenting, sharing.
There is no wrong in art so I believe everyone can do art in a variety of forms.
That is what I do.
I experiment and play and sometimes fail but more importantly I learn and am a perpetual learner.
I am messy and out of my messes comes beauty and form and light and line.
There is no one medium for me.
It changes with my moods.
My expressions and impressions come out in paintings and drawings and encaustic wax and oil and collage.
I like to see and smell and feel each piece.
Art should be shared and enjoyed and I love to not only show but teach and play and learn with children and all ages.
